    Speak2Me requests certain Android permissions only for features essential to the app’s functionality. We do not use or request any unnecessary or unrelated permissions. Below is the list of permissions and their purposes:
    a. CAMERA
    Purpose: Enables users to join or host video consultations with consultants.
    Disclosure: Access is requested only when a user starts or joins a video call.
    Privacy: No video data is accessed or stored without user consent.

    b. MICROPHONE
    Purpose: Required for audio and video calls during consultancy sessions.
    Disclosure: Permission requested at runtime only for active calls.
    Privacy: The app does not record or share microphone data without consent.

    c. READ/WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE (if applicable)
    Purpose: Allows users to upload profile images or share consultation-related documents.
    Disclosure: Users manually choose files to upload; no background scanning occurs.
    Privacy: All uploaded files are user-initiated and securely transmitted.

    d. POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13 and above)
    Purpose: Sends notifications about new messages, consultations, and updates.
    Disclosure: Users can manage or disable notifications anytime in system settings.
    Privacy: Only relevant app notifications are sent; no personal data is read or stored.

    e. BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE (if applicable)
    Purpose: Used for displaying custom call notifications or heads-up incoming call screens.
    Disclosure: The app does not read or access user messages or notifications.
    Privacy: Used solely to manage app notifications related to calls.

    f. Permissions Not Used
    Speak2Me does not use or request:
    - READ_CONTACTS
    - READ_SMS
    - RECEIVE_SMS
    - CALL_LOG
    - LOCATION

    Transparency and User Control
    - All sensitive permissions are requested at runtime using Android’s permission dialog.
    - Each permission’s purpose is disclosed within the app before requesting it.
    - The Privacy Policy and Play Store listing clearly explain how permissions are used.
    - No sensitive data is sold, shared, or stored without user consent.

    6. Your Rights
    You have the right to:
    - Access and update your information.
    - Request deletion of your account and personal data.
    - Opt-out of receiving promotional communications.
